Candle Care

At Pure Jean Co., we craft candles with care-- and with a little love, they'll return the favor. Follow these simple steps to get the most out of your candle.

First Burn

• To prevent tunneling and ensures an even, long- lasting burn. Allow your candles to burn until entire surface has melted ( usually 2-3 hours).  

Trim the wick 

• Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each burn
• This keeps the flame steady , reduces smoke, and helps your candle last longer.     

Burn Time   

• For safety and quality, burn your candle for 2-4 hours at a time.
• Never leave a candle unattended or burn near drafts, pets, or children.

Extinguishing 

• Gentle snuff out your candle instead of blowing it out to prevent smoke and splatter.

Reuse & Recycle 

• Once finished, clean out your vessel and give it new life-- as a planter, storage jar, or simply recycle it.
